Description
A quick, budget-friendly iced latte that tastes like a café drink but takes only 3 minutes to make. Perfect for busy mornings, this recipe uses cold brew, vanilla and caramel syrups, and milk for a rich, refreshing treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cold brew coffee concentrate
- 1 cup milk (whole milk, oat milk, or almond milk)
- 1.5 cups ice cubes
- 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
- 2 tablespoons caramel syrup
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream or whipping cream
- Pinch of salt (optional)
- Extra caramel syrup for drizzling
- Vanilla bean paste or powder (optional garnish)
Instructions
- If making cold brew from scratch, mix 1 cup coarse ground coffee with 4 cups cold water and steep in the fridge for 12-24 hours. Strain and store concentrate.
- Fill a highball glass or large tumbler tightly with ice cubes.
- Pour 2 cups of cold brew coffee over the ice.
- Add 2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup and 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup to the glass.
- Pour in 1 cup of milk. If using a shaker, shake milk and syrups together for 10 seconds until frothy, then pour over coffee. If stirring, whisk vigorously in the glass until combined.
- Drizzle a splash of heavy cream on top for a marbled effect.
- Drizzle extra caramel syrup over the top in a zigzag pattern.
- Serve immediately with a wide straw.
Notes
For best results, use cold ingredients to prevent ice from melting too quickly. Large ice cubes melt slower and keep the drink cold without diluting it. You can substitute vanilla extract for syrup, but use only 1 teaspoon as it is more potent. For a dairy-free version, use oat milk or almond milk.
